Shari’s father, Bernard Chertok, industry pioneer, ran the first footage library, Sherman Grinberg Film Library, which represented Paramount and Pathé newsreels as well as ABC News. Uncle, David Chertok, and now cousin, Michael Chertok are the owners of The Chertok Jazz on Film Collection. It must be in the genes.
With the arrival of new Partner, Nancy Kern, re:search is now the culmination of years of shared experiences of two people whose paths have crossed over the years.
We have been editors, photographers and book publishers and have combined vast experience in footage, photo and music research, plus a long history of intellectual property rights and clearances.
